一位太太，整天蹲著一動不動。 先生和孩子都沒辦法，也因為太太不說話，基本上不能溝通。 作者花了十天時間，在她身邊出現，一樣蹲著，一樣一動不動。 結果某一天，太太突然發現了他。
Life of Stone
There is a woman who squats on the floor whole day without motion. Her husband and kids can do nothing about it because she doesn't speak making communication difficult with her. The author used 10 days to squat next to her in the same way. Finally, the woman noticed him.
The woman says, 'it is quite possible that stones are living things; it's just that they live in a different kind of way. We always think that: a living thing has eyes, nose and arms and legs. Actually a stone's life is just in a different form. They look like motionless, but they actually move so slow that it is not noticeable. Stones move passively - blown by wind and rushed by sea. In fact, stones do not want to be moved because their life will be endangered by corrosion.'
The woman says with a smiling face, 'when sand and soil are mixed together, they will come to life and therefore have thinking. Stones merely cannot understand human languages, and they don't think humans have life. From their perspective, humans grow and die so fast. Humans vanish in a blink because human life is too short.'
